Philosophy of Little Angels Preschool

We provide a loving, nurturing, and safe environment wherein we seek to educate the "whole child". We provide age-appropriate experiences for children aged two through early five years in preparation for kindergarten. The social, emotional, cognitive, creative, physical and language domains are enhanced through hands-on experience in play.

The spiritual domain is enhanced as the children are introduced to the loving goodness of God, the love of Jesus through song, books, simple prayer, and monthly Bible Time/Chapel. We help children realize the beauty around them and to be respectful of our earth, while thanking God for all he has given us.

Teachers are leaders, and they lead by example. Children need to know what is expected of them before they can follow directions. We therefore expect the staff to guide the children using constructive and preventative methods, as in cooperative conflict resolution, and to maintain an atmosphere of love and acceptance. We believe this sets a foundation for children to thrive and be successful, kind human beings.

We empower our teachers to create dynamic classroom environments, inside and out. They customize the curriculum for their particular age group, and maintain strong, regular communication with their families.

Little Angels Philosophy

Parent Participation

Each family is encouraged to participate at Little Angels and there are many ways to do so. However participation is not mandatory. We also have an open door policy, where parents are welcome to visit the classroom at any time.

Non-profit Organization

Little Angels Preschool is run as a non-profit organization and is governed by a board comprised of parents, staff, and a representative of Trinity Lutheran Church. All donations given to the school are tax-deductible.

Additional Programs

We have a Back-to-School Picnic for the families at the beginning of the school year and a Soiree/Auction in the fall for the parents to get to know each other. Our fundraisers continue after the Soiree with a carnival for the children in the spring! A Christmas Show and Sing-a-long are given in December each year, as well as a Spring Sing in May. We then end the school year in June with a Pre-K graduation and an end of the year party for the children.
