The Bumblebee class will explore many things through play in a safe, loving and Christian atmosphere. The classroom is transformed each month into one of their units. The children may explore the following areas of the classroom daily: Music, Blocks, Dramatic play, Cognitive, Self-help Art, Science, and Reading. Art is offered daily as well as weekly cooking. The children are exposed to various cognitive concepts in Small Circle time. One day a month the director takes over small circle for "Bible Time" where simple Bible lessons are told. In Large Circle the children will experience dance and movement through a wide array of music. On Wednesdays and Thursdays they have a music teacher to provide additional songs and movement.

TEACHER PROFILES:

Rosa

My name is Rosa and I am a teacher in the Bumblebee Class. I have been at Little Angels since 2009 and love it! I graduated with an AS Degree in Early Childhood Education from Santa Barbara City College and I have an AA degree in Liberal Arts as well. I am also First Aid and CPR certified.

Katy

My name is Katy and I am a teacher in the Bumblebee Class. I've worked in a school setting since 2006 with preschool aged children up to second grade. I've enjoyed working with the different ages but enjoy the preschool years the most. I am so blessed to be part of LAPS and always look forward to being a part of a child's learning experience and growth. I am also First Aid and CPR certified.

Jessica

My name is Jessica, and I am the Assistant in the Bumblebee Class. I have taken Early Childhood Education Courses at SBCC, and worked with elementary age children for two years. I’m enjoying working with younger children at Little Angels. I am CPR and First Aid certified.

When drop-in days are available, the rate is $75 per day payable the morning of.

There is an annual registration fee of $250.00. If there are two children enrolled, then one is $250 and the other is $150. A $300 deposit per child is also due (this deposit will apply towards the first months fall tuition). Both are due at the registration appointment in April and are non-refundable.

Tuition can be paid for the year or as a courtesy to you can be paid in 10 monthly installments, August through May (one month in advance). The payments are due on the 1st of the month, delinquent after the 5th. There is no credit for absences, and no substitution days.

*A school year runs from the middle of August to the middle of June, exact dates to be determined annually.

All tuition and the registration fee are non-refundable and subject to change.
